Clinical Supervision for LMSWs/LSWs in PA & NY
I provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed social workers seeking a supportive and growth-focused clinical supervision experience. Supervision with me is grounded in ethical practice, clinical and diagnostic skill development, and the formation of a strong professional identity.
As an experienced clinical supervisor, my supervision style is warm, friendly, inviting, non-judgemental, collaborative, reflective, and strengths-based. I promote an emphasis on helping clinicians build confidence, sound clinical judgement, and competence in their practice. I aim to create a space where clinicians feel supported and comfortable in asking questions, processing cases, and navigating the challenges of early professional development.
Supervision is available via telehealth and is designed in a flexible and supportive way that also aligns with academic and state licensing requirements. Supervision is offered to clinicians working toward licensing in Pennsylvania & New York.
Mental health is a deeply meaningful profession—but it is also one of the highest-burnout fields. Clinicians are asked to hold space for others’ pain, complexity, and trauma day after day, often while navigating heavy caseloads and systemic demands. Without meaningful supervision, even passionate and competent clinicians can experience burnout, self-doubt, and compassion fatigue.
Strong supervision creates a space to process, reflect, and grow—rather than carry everything alone. The right supervision can truly make or break a clinician’s experience in this field, shaping not only how they practice, but whether they remain in the work long-term.
When supervision is done well, it becomes a protective factor—not just for clinicians, but for the clients they serve.
Quality clinical supervision is not a luxury; it is essential.
“The best practitioners are those who remain students of both their work and themselves.”
