Hi, I’m Stacy
I founded Mindful Counseling & Mental Wellness in 2025, and I’m glad you’re here.
I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Edinboro University in 2016 and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of PA & NY. I am also a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist (C-DBT), and Certified Personality Disorder Treatment Provider (C-PD). Throughout my career, I’ve worked with adolescents and adults across a wide range of mental health needs, in both the community mental health and private practice sectors, providing thoughtful, evidence-based psychotherapy in both individual and group settings. In addition to this, I have provided clinical supervision and training to MSW interns and LMSWs seeking clinical licensing.
My clinical work integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, psychoeducation, and existential approaches. I specialize in working with individuals navigating emotional dysregulation, trauma, narcissitic abuse, personality patterns, relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, and complex family dynamics. I’m especially drawn to helping people understand themselves more deeply while building practical skills to manage emotions, relationships, and life transitions.
I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to the whole person. My role is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as you build insight, resilience, and a stronger sense of empowerment.
Outside of my professional life, I’m a mother to two adult children and a lifelong animal lover. I especially love dogs—and yes, I have nine of them. They constantly remind me of the importance of presence, patience, unconditional connection, and the healing power of feeling safe.
I currently offer virtual psychotherapy services for adults and college students located throughout Pennsylvania and New York, with plans to expand to in-person care in the Lehigh Valley of PA. Telehealth sessions are available, with limited evening and weekend appointments offered for clients with full-time or demanding schedules.
If you’re considering therapy, I’d be honored to support you on your journey.
In addition to my clinical work with clients, I provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed social workers pursuing licensure in Pennsylvania and New York. I value creating a supervision space that is supportive, thoughtful, and grounded in real-world clinical practice. Supervision is offered via telehealth and designed to support both professional growth and clinical competence.
Why I became a therapist
I became a therapist because I believe deeply in people’s capacity for growth, healing, and change—especially during moments when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. I’ve seen how unprocessed emotions, trauma, and relational patterns can quietly shape the way we move through the world, and how powerful it can be to finally feel understood within a safe, supportive space.
Throughout my work, I’ve been drawn to helping individuals who feel emotionally stuck, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to navigate intense emotions and relationships. Therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, gain insight, and learn practical tools—while also honoring the deeper experiences that have shaped who you are.
My intention in this work is to provide therapy that feels thoughtful, compassionate, and meaningful. I strive to create a space where clients feel supported in understanding themselves more fully, building resilience, and moving toward lives that feel more aligned and authentic.
It’s a privilege to walk alongside people as they reconnect with themselves and create meaningful change.
